This Child: I was early in my pregnancy with my first child when this song began to take shape. Even at this stage, I already found myself given to worry and anxiousness! Through reading Psalm 119, I found much comfort knowing God, who created that life inside me, had already numbered every day of my child’s life. Motherhood has since proved to be a process of continually offering up my children, recognizing they are ultimately the Lord’s.
